Having had what has felt like a never-ending week, it’s quite nice to flick back through the Dublin photos to post them here. This time last week I was drinking too many Guinnesses and cracking jokes and having a hilarious time. Not that I can complain, though. This evening I’m having friends over for dinner then we’re going to the pub next door for shisha and bunny-spotting (really, there are bunnies in the shisha area, just hopping around). Not bad for a Friday. Have a good weekend all!

Happy St Patrick’s Day to you all! I indulged the Irish half of me with half a pint of Guinness – I was tipsy and light-headed after that. Apologies for the crappy Blackberry photo. I decided against hauling a camera into work today. To compensate, here are a few that I took yesterday.
I love London in this weather. When it’s grey and dreary, it can look so ugly but it’s a treat for the eyes when spring arrives. I walked from Grays Inn Road to Russell Square, along Southampton Row and Kingsway, down Aldwych and along the strand to Trafalgar Square. I felt like I wasn’t just tolerating London because it’s my home city, but that I was actually enjoying it for what it had on offer. Minus a few smokers behind whom I had to walk. Pet hate: standing downwind from a lit cigarette. Sign of a true Londoner: finding something to whinge about even when it’s a gorgeous day.
