Down to Margate

It was a miserable day in Margate when I was there last week. Instead of taking photos outdoors (which would have looked terrible), I took a few inside the arcades instead. I do love a bit of tack, as we know.

Bright On

My friends Henna and Andrew and I went to Brighton for the day. It started off rainy and grey but then brightened up into a fine afternoon! The ice cream sundaes were from Scoop & Crumb, an ice cream cafe on East Street – absolute perfection.

My brother and I embarked on a road trip down to the south coast yesterday. He just passed his driving test last week so we decided to go on an adventure. The drive down was so much fun, especially when accompanied by his awesome 80s playlist. Who knew the Rocky soundtracks were so good??

The last time we were in Rye, it was a grey, windy and miserable day. Yesterday it was just beautiful so now we can think of it like that instead.

A whirlwind trip.

I went to Cambridge this weekend and had a lot of fun.

Oh man, the first picture. I keep laughing every time I see it. I love that hat and must attend a German Christmas market to purchase one of my own. It was nice to be back in Cambridge; it’s a quaint little town.
