The Windy Crag

We affectionately termed Paros the ‘Windy Crag’ because…well, it’s windy and rocky. There’s apparently a constant stream of wind between Paros and Naxos, and this makes Paros a popular windsurfing spot. I grew fond of the Windy Crag, particularly on the day we went on the long, long walk documented in the above photos. We walked from Parikia over to a ruin we could see in the far distance. It involved walking through beaches and over hilly and rocky terrain and it took about 4 hours there and back but we got there! I’d say it was my favourite part of the whole trip.

I went on a day trip to Southend for work. The weather turned out quite nice and I got a few decent shots!

See if you recognise anyone over at The Arched Eyebrow!

Bright On

My friends Henna and Andrew and I went to Brighton for the day. It started off rainy and grey but then brightened up into a fine afternoon! The ice cream sundaes were from Scoop & Crumb, an ice cream cafe on East Street – absolute perfection.

Road trip

My brother and I embarked on a road trip down to the south coast yesterday. He just passed his driving test last week so we decided to go on an adventure. The drive down was so much fun, especially when accompanied by his awesome 80s playlist. Who knew the Rocky soundtracks were so good??

The last time we were in Rye, it was a grey, windy and miserable day. Yesterday it was just beautiful so now we can think of it like that instead.

Sunny intervals, seagulls and pebbles.

It’s been a busy week since my last post! I’ve been working almost every day, including an 11-hour day yesterday, when I took a group of people down to Brighton. So much fun. I forgot how much I like Brighton. As a teenager, I spent so much time down there on the weekends as it was only a train ride away from Croydon. It was really good to be back; I shouldn’t leave it so long next time.
