My friend Simon and I went on an adventure to Barnes to visit the London Wetland Centre. We saw a lot of ducks (and some swans and a couple of otters) and got rained on and had a very nice time.

Down to Margate

It was a miserable day in Margate when I was there last week. Instead of taking photos outdoors (which would have looked terrible), I took a few inside the arcades instead. I do love a bit of tack, as we know.

Horniman Museum

Who knew such a goldmine lurked in the depths of southeast London? I’m the newest addition to the Horniman Museum’s fan club. Here are a few shots from their fantastic collection of musical instruments. More coming up from their natural history exhibits!

You saw Bethany’s post over at The Arched Eyebrow about our Soho date last week, so here’s mine. We went for ice cream at Scoop in Covent Garden and generally had a pleasant and rambly afternoon. If you enjoy Bethany’s blog (and I’m sure you do because it’s REALLY GOOD), please vote for her to win a Cosmo Blog Award HERE under the ‘Student Blog’ category, and make sure there’s a little green tick next to ‘The Arched Eyebrow’.

I went on a day trip to Southend for work. The weather turned out quite nice and I got a few decent shots!

See if you recognise anyone over at The Arched Eyebrow!

Night time ramblings

I love a good (and safe/well-lit) night time walk. I try to go on one at least once a week, but unfortunately it doesn’t always work out that I have a few hours to spare. I had to introduce myself and say one of my favourite things to do last week and I said, “I’m Annabel and I like walking.” 100% truth.

Bright On

My friends Henna and Andrew and I went to Brighton for the day. It started off rainy and grey but then brightened up into a fine afternoon! The ice cream sundaes were from Scoop & Crumb, an ice cream cafe on East Street – absolute perfection.
