Aeolistic

Happy new year!

I hope you had as lovely a festive season as I did. I spent it with lovely people and had a thoroughly fun and indulgent time. So fun and indulgent, in fact, that I neglected to take many photos. I’ve got a couple of disposable cameras in to be developed and some light-hearted shots of Bethany in a furry bear hat, so they’re at least on the way!

Having a flick through my photos, it becomes obvious that I like to capture things in contrast with the sky in different shades of blue. I’m trying to keep an eye on the kinds of things I like to photograph. Food is an obvious one, though I haven’t in a while. Perhaps that should be my next mission.

Miscellany

The last few from my Portobello Market photos! I didn’t realise quite how many I took. I should give myself the day off from everything more often. Have a good week!

Two Karat Kitsch

For me, Camden is all about the tacky feast for the eyes. I haven’t actually bought anything there for a long time, but sometimes I go just to take it all in.

Art holds fast when all else is lost.

I wandered around Brick Lane the other week with a couple of friends. We found an amazing ukelele shop but I was too awestruck to remember to take any photos. I’ll have to venture back! I’m looking for a good ukulele in the hope of rekindling an interest in playing music again. There were sparkly ones, so this plan might work. A degree in politics may have just ruined me for anything creative, but we shall see!
